As part of the waterfront regeneration of Leith, our clients Forth Property Developments Ltd areWestern Harbour Redevelopment, Leith, Edinburgh
developing the harbour for the construction of over 2000 residential properties and 40,000m2
of commercial & retail development.
As primary consultant, we have been involved in the infrastructure design, reclamation, environmental
and site investigations, dredging, quay wall construction & supervision of infilling contractors.
Coordination of all site investigation and reports on ground conditions and flooding.
Coordination and implementation of all dredging works and silt removal and testing and using
our 3D models to calculate volumes of any infill required.
Design & supervision of all land reclamation including material screening, SEPA/Local Authority
certification, land forming, ground stabilisation implementation & monitoring and forecasting.
Coordination and reports on soil testing and the suitability in accordance with current
environmental legislation. Full consultation with all relevant authorities.
Reports on Ground and soil testing and the suitability for construction.
Design and supervision of Phase 1 spine road and main drainage infrastructure implementation.
Management of existing and proposed utilities and site supervision for the site as a whole.
Survey, report and design solutions for the integrity of all existing and proposed marine
structures including breakwater and quay walls.
Coordination and implementation of all topographical and bathymetrical surveys. Our 3D modelling
capabilities allow us to report to the clients on the progress, volumetric costings and forecasts.
